Born in 1965 in Kayseri, İrfan Özhamaratlı completed his secondary and high school education at İstanbul High School. İrfan Özhamaratlı graduated from Boğaziçi University Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department in 1988. In 2009 he was elected as a member to the Assembly of ICI, and served as Chairman of the Underwear Committee, member of the Account Examination Commission, and member of the Foreign Trade Specialized Board. He served as Chairman of Board of TİGSAD (Underwear Industrialists Association) between 2011-2017. İrfan Özhamaratlı, served as Accounting Member of İstanbul Chamber of Industry Board of Directors between 2013 - 2014, is serving as Vice Chairperson of İstanbul Chamber of Industry Board of Directors since 2014. İrfan Özhamaratlı, serving as a member of TOBB Garment Industry Assembly and Turkish Exporters Assembly, is still Chairman of Board of Directors of Hamaratlı Tekstil Konfeksiyon San. ve Tic. AŞ. which manufactures and exports knitwear. İrfan Özhamaratlı is married with two children, and is fluent in German and English.
