Compliments for Our Industrialists

"I wholeheartedly congratulate all of our industrialists who continue to produce, transform and protect their employees by putting forward an admirable effort within with in the scope of the precautions.” Hearing those words from Fuat Oktay, the Deputy President of the Republic who participated in the negotiation meetings that we held with our Profession Committees last month filled us, the industrialists with pride.
You can read the messages of Oktay, the Deputy President of the Republic regarding our industrialists in detail; however, I attach great importance to his following words and would like to share them with you:
“Considering our capacity, Türkiye is among the leading countries that can be deemed as the alternative production base. You can enable our country to become the central country in many sectors by establishing new business collaborations.”
As Oktay, the Deputy President of the Republic stated, we are going through very challenging period all together. While the damage caused by Covid-19 ranging from health to social life, from economy to education have made all countries of the world think, it is not possible to not appreciate the fight of our country against this unforeseen crisis. When compared to the world examples, we show a will that has managed the health-dimensional process of the situation.
Significant steps have been taken in economical field as well. The subjects that we have demanded for our industry and employees have been reflected to the package of first precautions taken by the Presidential Cabinet. Upon the contribution of such precautions, we see once again that “Fortunately, we have industrialists who have a strong production structure even if it has some problems and will to produce despite of the crises. We have to keep this will and production capacity alive for the bright future of our country.
Negotiations are of crucial importance in such a challenging period. Another important negotiation meeting that we participated within this regard was organized by The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye which is the roof institution. The meeting chaired by Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the TOBB President and participated by Berat Albayrak, the T.R Minister of Treasury and Finance was realized with 365 chamber and exchange presidents and 61 sectoral assembly presidents. I participated in this significant meeting as TOBB Chambers of Industry Council President and shared the important points on the agenda of our industry during the Covid-19 period.
As we did in April, we realized the May Assembly meeting as video conference because of Covid-19 with the main agenda of “Pandemic Exit Strategy and Our New Normally Industry".
Covid-19 restricts our range of motion; however, we are in a dense meeting and negotiation traffic thanks to the communication technologies, which provides strength for us in such days when we are going through a serious fight. We would like to remind that we should maintain our hope and I wish you have healthy and fruitful days with the idea the best feeling on the world is to know that the opportunities are unlimited and infinite.
