As Istanbul Chamber of Industry, we continue to conduct our works and projects with the aim for our country to become a strong industrial country. To support the domestic production and domestic product use within these works among our prioritized goals.

It is certain that preferring the projects conducted by public and private sectors in the domestic scale and supporting the domestic industry will reduce foreign dependency in many sectors and have positive impacts on national income, employment, balance of payments and international competitiveness of our country.

We should remember that public procurement policies are used as a tool to enhance the industrialization ability of countries in all developed countries. Within this regard, we carry out leading, result-driven and effective works to create awareness with our stakeholders from various sectors within the framework of our collaboration. In this way, we support and encourage our domestic manufacturers. 14th Industry Congress has undertaken a very important and meaningful role in this path to our goal.

I am very proud to express that our Industry Congresses are taking further steps towards the future with great interest and appreciation by being renewed and improved with visionary topics and themes that will enhance the horizons of our industrialists.

We have brought a brand new format to the Industry Congress with the feature of being a brand value of Istanbul Chamber of Industry which is suitable with the spirit of the new era as the result of intense and long-lasting works. After the13th Industry Congress, 14th Industry Congress as a new generation second interactive Industry Congress, aims to create an awareness in domestic production and domestic product usage.

In 14th Industry Congress, as well as the “Domestic But Universal” main theme, “Protectionism Wind in the World and the Future of Our Global Competitiveness", "Domestic and Universal in Global Competition” titled events, the following four workshops are included: “Institutional Structure and Human Experience", "The Position of the Indigenous in the Context of Global Standards", "Admiration for Foreigners, Nationalism and Trust", "New Generation Behaviors in Consumption”.

We aim to take further and more steps to support the domestic production and domestic product usage...
