The Istanbul Chamber of Industry (ICI) has adopted a strategic vision to strengthen the R&D and innovation ecosystem in Istanbul and carries out comprehensive activities that facilitate access to national and international funding opportunities in order to enhance the R&D and technology development capabilities of regional industry.

Established in 2022 within the scope of the Innovative Istanbul Financial Support Program of the Istanbul Development Agency, the Istanbul Project Academy has played a significant role in the implementation of EU-funded R&D and innovation projects and successfully completed its first phase after a one-and-a-half-year implementation period.

Today, the Istanbul Project Academy continues to provide activities such as training, information sessions, consortium building, and matchmaking by effectively utilizing the international cooperation opportunities offered through the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), of which ICI has been a member since 2008. It supports public institutions, entrepreneurs, industry representatives, and academic stakeholders in developing their capacities and establishing international collaborations.

One of the most prominent activities of the Istanbul Project Academy is the Tailor-Made R&D and Innovation Funding Opportunities Roadmap Consultancy provided to companies.
